We start from a Methodology or own evolutionary paradigm based on 3 pillars or elements:
– An explanatory theory building intellectual disability and to understand its evolution.
– Some instruments competency assessment of children to assess their needs.
– A program of psychoeducational strategies to streamline the curriculum and guide responses to educational needs.
And a series of care services, training and advice, based on experience and knowledge.
From this evolutionary paradigm articulated by Cambrodí and teamwork, professionals who worked in schools mentored by Dr. Cambrodí, we started to develop the institution from its purposes.
Research and experience gained by the team of professionals FAC-IPE, since its establishment until today, allows us to offer a number of approaches, proposals and responses to problems and challenges of educational fields and social participation before the functional diversity of people and social inclusion of all of them.
